First Time Visitors

We understand that visiting a new church can seem intimidating.  We truly do want you to find what we find here, that this is a place where you belong!  That's why we've assembled some common questions from new visitors to help make you feel comfortable and welcome.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are we?

We are a body of believers who wholeheartedly strive to follow Jesus Christ and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.  The Dellroy Church of the Nazarene is a Christ-centered Church that is focused on bringing hope and acceptance, leading to Christ's forgiving grace, and maturing in holiness.  We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to ministry of the Word.  Our passion and goal is to equip believers for the work of ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Is there a dress code?

We encourage you to come as you are!  There is no dress code. We just  want you to feel welcome and comfortable.

What should I expect on my first visit?

When you first enter the church, it is our goal to make you feel welcome and happy that you are here. One of our greeters will meet you at the entrance with a smile and will answer any questions you might have.  They can direct you to the Sunday School class that suits your needs or to the sanctuary for the worship service.  There is no assigned seating so just sit where you feel comfortable!

What is available for my children?

We have a Sunday School class available for children of all ages.  For those with infants/toddlers, there is a nursery available during both the Sunday School hour and the worship service.  At the beginning of each service, the children participate in the Children's Money March.  The children simply go around to the congregation and collect all of their change.  These monies are then given to the World Evangelism Fund.  Following the Children's Money March, we offer Children's Church.  This takes place during the worship service and is available most Sundays.  Children's Church resembles a Sunday School class where the children learn at their level.

What do you do to keep my children safe?

We take the safety of you and your family seriously.  Each of our adult volunteers who minister to teens and children are trained and tested through NazSafe.
